    Description

This is an Official Publication of the Sesquicentennial International Exposition, Philadelphia, 1926 (celebrating 150 years since Declaration of Independence). The softcover souvenir book is magazine format (folded, not flat, spine) held together with cording through three holes....Cording is worn, and some pages have come loose, torn at the hole punch..There are a total of 12 pages on the interior, each with a pastedown photographic view (sometimes two in the same pastedown) of a fair scene. (there is no official title page, nor do I know if any pages are missing, or this was the total to begin with, as pages are not numbered and are loosely bound) The covers are soiled, stained chipped....but I think it is really cool to have the original owner's name (Pearla C Smith) at the top of the front in ink, and under the Liberty Bell is the notation "Oct 1926 Carrie & Peg". (Inside the rear cover is "Wegan, Carrie") A scarce fair item, from so long ago!!!
