    24K Gold Plated King Queen Gold Diadem/Crown Ornaments  Paekche (Korea) framed in shadow box. Includes red felted box. The outer box has a little damage to it. Please see photos! Condition is Used.
    One cap ornament for a Korean King, and one cap ornament for Korean Queen. A stunning gold plated reproduction of Paekche (early 6th century A.D.)hand crafted cap ornaments. The originals, which are in the Kongju National Museum, are designated National Treasures No. 154 and 155. The king's intricately designed cap ornament includes many gold spangles. The queen's is without spangles and is of its own unique design. A yellow information sheet in both Korean and English is included in the case, providing background and archeological information about the originals (copy of text available upon request).Beautifully mounted on black field with engraved informational plate, including charcoal colored matte and sleek black frame, these framed artifacts come nestled in a custom case with red velvet interior and deep maroon velvet exterior. The case latches with a decorative gold metal latch (not sure if latch is gold plate or other material).The frame, which includes a gold decorative hanger mounted to the top, measures 16 1/8" x 11 7/8" x 1 1/8" The hinged velvet case measures 17 5/16" x 13 3/8" x 2 1/8
