    Description

    Antique 1900s Fritzsche essential oil, about half full, Oil of Cedar Leaves, American.  Fritzsche was the premier essential oil maker, importing and created pure fatty oils.  Later in the 1920s they figured out how to make cheaper synthetics oils, which can be easily identified by clear glass bottles.  The original oils were housed in amber or dark blue jars to protect the oil's exposure to sunlight. This jar weighs 7 ounces and is a four ounce bottle, it has about half or 2 ounces left.  Cork is tight but has a nice pleasant aroma.  Estate find.
