Antique Meiji Period Japanese Totai Shippo Tree Bark Cloisonne 9" Plate

Description

This is an Antique Japanese Totai Shippo Tree Bark Cloisonne 9" Plate from the Meiji Period.
This Vase is in Good Condition.
***NOTE***
There are cracks on the face of the plate that do not show on the bottom of the plate, so the cracks do not appear to go all the way through. There is also paint chipping all along the edge. See last 3 pictures for close-ups of these areas. This is the reason for the low price on this very interesting antique.
The Plate is 9" in diameter. The Plate weighs 1 LBS 2 OZ.
The first picture was taken with flash on which tends to bring out the colors, the next picture was taken with no flash, to help you judge the colors.
