    Beautiful 1840's Young Girl Holding Fan with Plant-Full Case-1/6th Plate-NICE!!!. I think that the spine has been repaired but done so well that I'm not positive. Not done by myself. Double latched. Case closes perfectly but bottom latch seems to not want to latch completely. Latches are tight and case is in wonderful condition. Judge for yourself by the pics. Front of case has flower design while back has double pheasant design. There are no scratches or wipes on the daguerreotype photo. Young girl seated next to a plant on a small table with elaborate cloth with interesting design on it. She is holding what I believe to be a hand fan that is closed. Beautiful overall 1/6th plate daguerreotype and case. I have never removed the daguerreotype from the case. Shipped Priority Mail in a strong, sturdy box. Will have the utmost care in packaging!!!
