    Description

Found at an estate auction: I am not an
expert, but my research shows that this is an antique ceramic KOMARI ancient dye dish/bowl with a classic "octopus arabesque" pattern on interior surface, referred to as "tako-karakusa", produced in the Late Edo period of Japan, mid/late 1700's. Characters to the underside.
Please examine all photos for best description of this item, and note that the condition is excellent, I see no flaws.
