Cambridge Caprice Moonlight Blue Water Goblet 10 oz Stem 6 3/4" Tall MINT COND.

Offered for sale and just found at a local estate is this beautiful and tall WATER GOBLET in a beautiful light blue color.  The pattern is "Caprice" and the company that manufactured this pattern is the Cambridge Glass Company.  Cambridge manufactured a lot of Elegant Depression Glass - that which was sold at better jewelry stores and department stores during the Depression Era.  I identified this pattern in the informative book "Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era" (copyright 2009, 13th edition) by Cathy & Gene Florence.  This piece is listed as "Stem, 10 oz, Water, #1" on page 59.  The "Caprice" pattern was manufactured from the 1940's through 1957.  The color is a light blue that Cambridge referred to as "Moonlight Blue" and it is stunning!!  Of course, many people use these as WINE GLASSES these days and not water goblets - it all depends on how much you like or need your wine!!  (or who's coming to dinnner).  These water goblets are a heavy pressed glass and are quite sturdy.  They will hold up for the duration!!  The goblet stands almost 6 3/4 inches tall with an opening of 3 inches across.  The condition as mentioned above is PRISTINE with no chips, no cracks, no discoloration, no flaws of any kind.  You will fall in love with the color, the sturdiness, and the elegance of this pattern!!  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will not be disappointed!!
