This auction is for one copy of the CAPRICE book produced by the National Cambridge Collectors. This well-researched book, authored by NCC Archivist Mark Nye, assisted by major national Caprice collectors from around the country, has a catalog picture of every known piece of Cambridge Caprice that was produced, along with information on the date introduced, colors, treatments, date discontinued and whether the piece was reissued from the original mold after Cambridge went out of business.
The book contains 200 pages packed full of photos and drawings. There is a lot of additional information, including sections detailing Caprice look-alikes and Caprice made by other companies (e.g. Imperial, Fenton, Summit).  This is an outstanding reference on a single pattern. It is an absolute must-have for any Caprice collector or Cambridge glass enthusiast.

The National Cambridge Collectors, Inc. is a non-profit Ohio corporation which was founded in 1973 to establish and maintain a permanent museum in Cambridge, Ohio for the display, study and preservation of Cambridge Glass. The museum is pictured at right, and is open April through October on Wednesday through Sunday.
Part of the mission includes accumulating and publishing information related to the Cambridge Glass Company. As of today, the NCC has published over 16 books relating to Cambridge Glass Company products.
