    Description

    Super, signed b&w 4x6 photo of Hans-Georg Hess, Cpt of U-995. He won the KC on 2/11/45. His wartime tally shows 1 ship sunk, for 7,176 tons. On his 1st patrol, Hess was in the North Sea, where successful sinkings were as hard to achieve as in the Mediterranean, & just as often, not confirmed.
