HURD SUPERCASTER ROD/REEL PAIR

Description

This is a pair of Hurd "SuperCaster" rods with built in reels in very good condition.  Handles are not cracked, the reels have a little dirt as I did not attempt to service them, the guides are okay though look fragile, rod tips are good.  The reels crank very easily, the handle knobs turn freely and both have loud clickers.
I have also included an original ad from Sports Afield from July, 1948.  They advertise these as "Build-in reel with interchangeable rods".  On one the rod is hard to get out, on the other it comes out easily.
