Japanese Kraak Style Blue White Porcelain Charger
Beautiful Japanese porcelain charger decorated in the style of Chinese Kraak porcelain
Appears to be fairly contemporary with a single spur mark to bottom center
Flowers in center, the border decorated with a series of radiating panels featuring auspicious objects surrounded by a scalloped rim
15 1/4" (38.75 cm) Diameter & 2" (5 cm) High at edge
Condition- Some fine scratches to center in spots which appear to have been created by a knife. A section on the rim has tiny bumps under the glaze (photo #5). The scalloped edge of charger is unglazed and slightly rough to the touch which was part of the production process. See photos.
