Johnson 710A Spincast Reel with box and papers

Everything works as it should.
It has been pointed out that a screw is missing. I've pointed this out in the last photo. It looks like the original screw, designed to keep the thumb-release in place, has either been modified or replaced. The slots for the screw driver may have been sheared off or the entire screw replaced with a metal plug. I can tell. Anyway, it does not affect performance. I've lowered the asking price to reflect this.
Update - it seems Johnson changed from a threaded screw to a metal insert at some point in time. The same thing can be found on the Johnson 150 reel.
