Hello and thank you for expressing an interest in my auction. I am offering for your consideration the following. Here is a "
GREAT
" collectible tile depicting the main fair building from the {
Detroit International Fair & Exposition 1889 - 1892
}. All serious Detroit collectors know of this exposition and how difficult it is acquire the really early scarce items. This tile was made in order to share one of the most famous and sought after photographs from that fair.  This tile was very professionally & artistically made using a high quality print from the original photograph. This tile has the absolute best quality and clarity of extremely fine detailed graphics identical to the real photograph.  Despite the original photograph having a slightly aged sepia tone appearance the colors are outstandingly incredible, extremely bright, deep, rich, vibrant, with great detail. - {
WORTH MENTIONING
} - This tile {
Was Not
} fired in a kiln due to the applied paper graphic image and the very glossy durable sealed coating is "
Not Glaze
" it is a very durable thick liquid coating - Envirotex Lite - an epoxy resin coating. This tile is very durable and very well made. The back has a thin sheet of soft cork covering, this would make a great desk top display or farmed and hung on a wall, etc.  It measures -
8-1/2
inches wide,
4-1/4
inches in height and,
1/4
inch thick.  I still use a 25 year old Sony Mavica that uses floppy disks, so pictures may seem a little under or over focused, but I assure you the graphics have incredible detail. The tile was made in Mexico, but the outstanding exceptional artistic talents which made this tile is here in the United States.
NOTE WHITE SPOTS
: Any bright white areas are over head light glare reflecting on the glossy coating of the tiles. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Thank you.
