This Teacup & Saucer Set is decorated with the Old Country Roses signature motif of burgundy, pink and yellow roses, accented with lustrous gold banding.
    Designed in 1962 by Harold Holdcroft, 's Old Country Roses has become one of the most popular china patterns in the company's century-long history. The sumptuous design is enhanced by the pieces’ sophisticated shape, graceful floral ornamentation, and rich feminine colors, with a style and elegance that are uniquely English. The crisp whiteness of the tea cup and saucer gracefully showcase the country roses in shades of pink and soft yellow. Set on a bed of greenery, the delicate flowers resemble those growing in a classic English garden. A fluted pattern and hand-trimmed border in 22-carat gold decorate both pieces of the set, and completes the romantic design. The saucer measures 5-1/2 inches in diameter, while the tea cup holds 6-1/2 ounces and is adorned with an ornately arched handle. For best results, recommends washing fine bone china by hand.
