    Description

    Up for bid is an early Pennell Reel Co, Phila ,Pa. "Pillar" Casting reel. Made for light saltwater or large fresh water fish. No anti-reverse or drag on these early reels. On back side of reel are two push buttons. One is the "clicker", which tells you when a fish is taking line out, the other is not working, and not sure what it was used for. Stamped on foot is 200. This is telling you size of reel plus the amount of line it is meant to hold. On back side looks like some solder near the screw knob. Not sure what is was there for.
