Up for sale is this covered soup tureen made by Royal Albert in England. It is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The gold trim on the handles have some superficial scratches, that should polish out as silverware does. This tureen looks like it was seldom used. It is a hard to find item.
The diameter is approx. 9 3/4 inches across the top opening and 13 inches counting the handles. Overall, 9 inches tall.
Some photos are a little dark. It rings like a big bell when thumped, top and bottom.
