Two Vintage Green Celadon Vases, Signed by Artist, 4 Seasons Design (3C8)

Description

These beautiful vases were bought in Seoul, Korea in the mid 1990s. Since then they have been sitting on a high shelf. They have no cracks, chips or scratches. The vase with the larger round portion at the top is referred to as the "male" vase (about 7 3/4 inches tall) and the other as the "female" vase (about 7 1/4 inches tall). Flowers representing the four seasons are depicted on the vases.
Spring - Plum Blossoms (courage)
Summer- Orchid (refinement)
Fall- Chrysanthemum (productivity)
Winter- Bamboo (integrity)
