Vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5000 Serial Number 908568 Near Mint

Description

I'm pretty sure this Ambassadeur 5000 has never been used. I found it in the back of a bedroom closet at an estate sale where literally thousands of items were forty plus years old and still in the original packaging. It was mounted on a mint condition Heddon Wormer rod with the original plastic sleeve still on it. There are no wear marks but there are a few tiny scratches and dings where it had been bumped against the other two dozen or so new rods and reels in the closet. Zoom in on the pictures. I'm not sure when it was made but the serial number is 908568. Reel only. There is no box, pouch or accessories.
