    Description

    Here is the 1948 catalogue version of the Ocean City Synchro Mesh Jersey City Squidding Reel No 122. It has a capacity of 300 yards. It equipped with Bakelite Side Plates. These and the frame are reinforced with Nickel Silver with Chrome Plating. The Shaft is steel. (Nickel Silver is an alloy usually made up of 60% copper, 20% nickel, 20% zinc with no amount of Silver except in appearance. One can see the copper on the worn areas of the base and other areas. It is a free spool design also. It has been referred to as a take apart reel also. It has a nice marbled reel handle .
