WAIMANALO (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Board of Water Supply is responding to a 20-inch water main break in Waimanalo Friday morning.
It was reported around 4 a.m. on Mekia Street near Shima’s Supermarket on Kalanianaole Highway.
Here’s a First Alert for drivers before they head out the door:
Motorists are advised to drive with caution near the work area and to expect delays.
Approximately 10 customers may be impacted during the repairs, BWS said.
Customers in Waimanalo are asked to use water for essential needs only, such as cooking, cleaning and for sanitary needs only to allow the water system to recover.
